As it is an offense against a country’s law, this way works because of the penalties imposed on the crime. Large sums of money may be demanded as fine and a jail term applied if the crime has destructive or fatal results. The offensive driver has the possibility of losing their driving license.
Drunk driving has a lot of negative outcomes for all the parties involved in it. Because human beings can never cease taking alcohol; it is a terrible phenomenon that will always exist. The best alternative would be to stiffen the penalties for drunk driving. A weight is on people to gather the lessons learnt from the results of drunk driving and bring changes to generations to come. Children should be taught from their young age the repercussions of drunk driving and that they may grow up having that knowledge. This way, the generational change is achieved and thus doing away with drunk driving.
